This year has been trying for us all in one way or another. We have all had our lives flipped upside down with no end in sight. I am reminding myself more than ever that no matter how difficult the days may seem I have so many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. I wanted to share that list with you.
Some times it takes a little shift in perspective to really ground me again. There are days where I feel like I am exceeding at life and others where I loose it. But, taking the time to make a short list daily of things to be thankful for helps flip the scene.

I want to emphasize that this list is MY OWN OPINION. Maybe you are thankful for the same, maybe you are thankful for something different. The important part is you seek out the things YOU are thankful for in your own life & embrace them.
Here Are My Things To Be Thankful For This Thanksgiving
My Kids
There are days where I feel like I am drowning in motherhood. Between distance learning, homeschooling, toddler tantrums, and everything else some days I am counting the minutes to bedtime.
But if there is one thing I have learned this past year, between all those moments there are some where my heart might burst out of love. It’s finding the beauty in the chaos that keeps me going.
We have found ways to continue old traditions and finding new ones as we navigate this way of life.

My Husband
This man right here is the absolute REAL MVP. He has been working from home since March and never ceases to amaze me at what a great partner he is.
He is always ready for whatever life throws our way & finds ways to get his work done all while lending support when needed. Between giving me breaks and supporting me & my business, he is a huge contributor to my mental well being.
A Roof Over Our Heads
With so many families having lost their home I am extra appreciative of having a roof over our heads. It seems like such a simple thing that we can somehow take it for granted.
Our Health
In the middle of a pandemic our good health is definitely something to be thankful for this year. My husband and I have been working in more greens into our diet along with consistently exercising in hopes of keeping our immune system strong.

Our Jobs
My husband has fortunately been able to work from home since the beginning of the pandemic. I am thankful every day that his job has not been put at risk like so many. My heart goes out to all the families who have lost their jobs.
For me, my job shifted gears a bit. I saw a slow down while companies figured out how to adapt to the new world. I am forever thankful.
Hobbies
Both my husband and I picked up new hobbies this year. For starters my husband picked up gardening. Together, we started learning woodworking & creating DIY projects throughout our home.
Having these hobbies has really helped give us a mental break & something to keep our identities while work and home life seem to have blurred lines.
Technology
I don’t think I’ve ever been more thankful for technology than this year. For starters, the ability to keep in touch and see the faces of our friends and family over video chats has been amazing.
Then, we get to the nitty-gritty thanks to our technology our kids can do their learning from home and us our work. Without this luxury we could continue to work and learn from the safety of our home.
All of You
I say this time and time again, but without you all I would not be able to continue doing what I do. The time you take to read, like a photo, comment, save, and share my work makes an impact on my business.
Thank you for being here to share this all with.
